Fair use rationale for Image:Shaw caesar cleopatra.jpg
[edit]Image:Shaw caesar cleopatra.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page. If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot (talk) 05:27, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Description of Ftatateeta in character list
[edit]Ftatateeta is not just "Cleopatra's nurse"; she also murders Cleo's enemies on demand. Calling her a mere "nurse" slights her. Goblinshark17 (talk) 03:52, 4 October 2014 (UTC)

Opening credits cast list differs from the order of names in closing credits
[edit]
|
|
The lead difference is that Vivien Leigh billed first and Claude Rains is billed second in the opening credits, while the reverse is true in the closing credits.
- Below are the remaining billing differences between opening credits and closing credits, with the first number representing position in the opening credits and the second number representing position in the closing credits. There are 17 cast members listed in the opening credits and 30 cast members listed in the closing credits. The second column lists the cast members seen only in the closing credits and indicates their billing order.

Was it a success or a failure?
[edit]The following quotes are all from our article:
- Success
- According to trade papers, the film was a "notable box office attraction" at British cinemas
- The film earned $1,363,371 in the United States, making it one of the most popular British films ever released there. It did however fall short of initial expectations
- Failure
- Caesar and Cleopatra was a box office failure
- The film was described as a "box office stinker" at the time, and almost ended Pascal's career.
So, I am totally confused as to its actual box office reception. These statements certainly cannot all be true. -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 22:45, 7 April 2018 (UTC)
