WikiProject COVID-19
[edit]I've created WikiProject COVID-19 as a temporary or permanent WikiProject and invite editors to use this space for discussing ways to improve coverage of the ongoing 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic. Please bring your ideas to the project/talk page. Stay safe, --Another Believer (Talk) 17:38, 15 March 2020 (UTC)
Ribbon
[edit]I'm removing the ribbon, for now --- while I applaud the effort of creating one, I don't think Wikipedia is the right place to start spreading it. 88.71.1.138 (talk) 18:19, 29 April 2020 (UTC)
- I've removed it again, for the same reason --- will not remove it again if it gets readded, but encourage comments from others. 178.11.255.0 (talk) 12:14, 30 April 2020 (UTC)
- Image is designed and issued by well notable welfare in the USA, Image explain Coronavirus (COVID-19) is represented by the red & yellow awareness ribbon. Red & Yellow represents this virus because when you look at coronavirus under a microscope you see the viral particles are coloured yellow as it emerges from the surface of a cell which is coloured red. So adding image back.Saadbhai123 (talk) 17:47, 30 April 2020 (UTC)
- Fair enough. Out of curiosity, who exactly designed it? 88.71.17.238 (talk) 09:51, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
- I've removed it again. It has no connection to the Faroe Islands. If it should be added anywhere, it should be added to the US article (if the editors over there agree). RN1970 (talk) 21:06, 1 May 2020 (UTC)

Faroes now covid-free?
[edit]According to Worldometers, the last infected individual has now recovered, and the Faroes are now (provisionally at least) covid-free. [1] Culloty82 (talk) 08:12, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
- Done (no deaths reported, all recovered): As I said, there are no active cases in Faroe Islands. If disease reappears, people must get attention and be prepared for second wave of pandemic carefully. 2A02:2F01:6504:6200:50CA:B598:9409:2D50 (talk) 07:42, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
Test count
[edit]> As of 22 October 148 854 people had been tested for COVID-19 in the Faroe Islands.[4]
That's 3x population of Faroe Islands, so it's probably everyone being tested 3 times, not imaginary people coming into existence? This should be rephrased. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C7:6B88:4600:7D8E:3AAB:1A5C:E917 (talk) 23:49, 23 October 2020 (UTC)
