Aspect ratio
[edit]"Each of the feeds broadcast in the 16:9 aspect ratio"
No, it's not. These geniuses at CNN show the feeds with a wrong 16 to about 9.45 ratio, but actually it should be really 16:10, and NOT 16:9. That's the reason why every feed has this flattened appearance, a bit too wide for the height (or a bit not high enough for the width if you prefer). Try it, take a screen shot of a live feed, cut the image of the content, play with it in any image editing software, stretch it to 16:10 and tadaaam, problem corrected.
The problem is complained about in many places, blogs, etc. Google "CNN aspect ratio". Repeated requests at CNN to fix this go unnoticed. They just don't care. 216.162.76.243 (talk) 03:30, 23 January 2010 (UTC) L.D.
