This comment is not constructive to this article. Every situation, especially with a genetic disorder, affects a personal differently. In the event that anyone is looking at this article and reviewing the academic credentials of this article, I promise that soon, it will no longer be a "stub". I have some great resources on the Major and Minor symptoms of CHARGE syndrome, and how these are used in diagnosing. I will soon be working on this, as I have a plane to catch (literally) in 3 hours. So please, bear with me. I will be elaborating this slowly, but surely. Cheers! Hello there! I actually am a public health student, studying epidemiology, and going off to Medical School next year. I heard about CHARGE through television, and I wanted to learn more and educate more. I think this is a misunderstood condition, and the more people know, the better our society can become, both for those affected and society in general. Best of luck to you and your daughter!! my nephew was born in october of 2006 he didnt stay in this world long because of his disformality after tests had been done an scans the doctor told us it was charge syndrome but he had never seen a new born with all the symtoms my nephew past 39 minutes after birth. tests were still being done and on the 23/4/2010 we found out the test results from holland to now know he didnt pass of charge syndrome so im just writing this too let everyone know of your child has past from this keep pushing the doctors to do more tests as it hurtd to find out 4 years later it was not that cause. it breaks your heart.
