I've been so quiet on here because I was lucky enough to get a full-time assistant professor and research coordinator position at Hofstra University. I love my job, but I'm still working on my dissertation too so I've been incredibly busy. I will be back on to edit articles here and there! :) Miss you all! Guess what? I defended my comprehensive exam successfully on Sept. 8, 2014, and will be defending my dissertation proposal within the next two months. I am hoping to graduate by May 2016! All the is busy but good... and my amazing daughter is going to be 2 soon! Where does the time go? I have read the call recently for the need for more women editors on Wikipedia. I am proud to have been one of them for almost NINE years, and have since been re-inspired to do edits whenever time allows on a regular basis again. WiiAlbanyGirl (talk) 16:12, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
I am now a level II doctoral student in epidemiology at the CUNY Graduate Center. My comp exam is on the investigation of multilevel influences within individuals, providers, institutional forces, and communities on cesarean delivery. I am defending in less than 10 days :) Then I officially move to the dissertation stage. Lots of work from now to D.R..... but the light is at the end of the tunnel.
I am still happily married, and I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl on May 29th, 2013 :). Valentina turned 15 months old on Friday. I will start editing more again this fall. I miss it WiiAlbanyGirl (talk) 19:06, 31 August 2014 (UTC)
I just finished my 3rd year of doctoral studies in public health, concentrating in Epidemiology at the CUNY Graduate Center. I married the love of my life in 2012 and I am due TODAY with my first child :). WiiAlbanyGirl (talk) 18:21, 26 May 2013 (UTC)
