I have removed the mention to year 2001 in the line pertaining the Chandra X-ray Observatory. Though the observations of the CDFS were started in 2001, the same field was observed again several times during the past decade, and further observations are planned for year 2014. Cand Dracului Faci Schema

[edit]

This is an entry that was added on 8 June 2012, and 23 September 2013:

  • CDFS (Cand Dracului Faci Schema), an acronym for a common question, usually addressed to the DCM entity.

and yesterday, 29 May 2014:

  • CDFS, in electrical engineering, is a common term that, in realation with the DCM entity, has the meaning to inquire when the schematic will be ready.

The phrase is Romanian, which matches the posting IP user. Google Translate suggests a meaning of "When the hell will the schematics be done?" (For what it's worth, the acronym "DCM" refers to digital clock manager, which is indeed related to electrical engineering.) Aside from the bad description and the fact that the phrase isn't even English, the phrase appears to be the creation of User:89.34.13.155, and thus does not belong on Wikipedia. —WOFall (talk) 17:42, 30 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

+1. Also Wikipedia:Disambiguation#What not to include: disambiguation pages are for linking to other Wikipedia articles, not dictionary entries. -- intgr [talk] 14:08, 5 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

So them how can such a genuine acronim entry be added on wikipedia? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.34.13.155 (talk) 07:24, 10 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not a dictionary. And the phrase only has 7 hits on Google, there is no way you could satisfy notability for a separate article. Just stop wasting our time, please. -- intgr [talk] 07:18, 11 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
