Age
[edit]The infobox gives his age as 58, but the two refs in the Death subsection of the Biography section list it as 57. [1], [2]. David O. Johnson (talk) 02:44, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
- Where are we getting the birth and death dates from? The infobox gives Sep. 13 and the body gives Sep. 12 for death; the body doesn't mention a birthdate so I can't tell where June 14, 1965 in the infobox came from. TulsaPoliticsFan (talk) 04:14, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
- For death I think Sep. 12, 2023, is right;
According to the National Transportation Safety Board, Eugene Peltola Jr. was the pilot and sole occupant of a Piper PA-18-150 Super Cub that crashed under “unknown circumstances” around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday.
[3] Tuesday the week of September 13 (date of publication) i.e. September 12, 2023. I'll see if I can find where the birthdate came from. TulsaPoliticsFan (talk) 04:31, 15 November 2023 (UTC)- Appreciate it. David O. Johnson (talk) 04:51, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
- I checked all the sources I could in the article (a few dead links) and none mentioned either birthday given in the article (February 7, 1966 in the lede; June 14, 1965 in the infobox). When I checked google some not WP:RS does mention the June date, but I didn't find a RS mentioning either with a quick google. TulsaPoliticsFan (talk) 05:06, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
