Leaf life span (LLS)

If this helps: I was looking at this paper and saw the leaf life span for the Buxus sempervirens, Buxaceae. The LLS = 488 ± 28.6 (days). States: "This study was conducted in Mediterranean old-fields over a 4-yr period on 42 species differing in successional status."
