Dubai Golf Course Controversay

[edit]

Should these[1][2] be mentioned under the golf courses sub-section, or do the news sources fall short of being professional? I originally brought this up on the main page for Donald Trump and I was told to bring it here.Holden3172 (talk) 01:50, 13 August 2017 (UTC)Holden3172[reply]

The last sentence of the "Business bankruptcies" section, originally added with this edit, is cited to an article that doesn't mention bankruptcy at all. 73.71.251.64 (talk) 07:59, 25 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

...sooo can someone please remove it? 73.71.251.64 (talk) 00:51, 28 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Proposing that "Donald Trump and golf" be merged into this article

[edit]

I find the article Donald Trump and golf to be unnecessary and silly. The content within could easily be covered in this article. This would not cause any weighting either. DeaconShotFire (talk) 19:11, 1 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

What's unnecessary and silly about it? Space4Time3Continuum2x (talk) 19:56, 7 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Bias

[edit]

This is one of the most biased articles I've ever seen on Wikipedia. Not only are 99 out of 100 statements in this article critical to him, showing a negative connotation, but it also exposes a narrative that is unhealthy. This is like a political slander, almost every statement shows some negative connotation, either it tries to show his business venture as a failure, or either by presenting him as "too succesful" like the statement saying that he owns "millions of square feet of other prime Manhattan real estate", that biases, adding up to the bias telling the "impacts" of some of his great projects, like the golf course in Scotland; in this case the bias is towards the other side of the conflict and unsurprisingly critical to him again. If you consider this three kinds of narratives: "It was a failure", "he dominates too much of this market (Real estate in NY)", and "it causes negative effects (ambiental, social) it gives the impression that this is a collection of dozens of articles from media organizations that are against him or are using political bias instead of impartiality. This is just an article about Donald Trump's business career, if we can't maintain a healthy article even here, i don't know where it could show some NPOV and high quality content. I visit too much the Wikipedia in English and in Portuguese, but this article is a surprise, i didn't expected that it would look like an article straight out of a gossip magazine. Not only is the Wikipedia entry massively biased (as is the main "Donald J. Trump" Wikipedia entry), but neither entry includes ANY mention of the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Chicago. It's a MAJOR project yet deliberately ignored due to anti-Trump bias.
