Notable residents

[edit]

The existence of a person's separate Wikipedia entry is neither necessary nor sufficient for judging that person to be notable. Anonymous people have been adding high-school teachers to town pages for some time, and I have been attempting to revert and explain. Certainly some teachers are really good people, but they are not notable except for specific reason. On the other hand there are notable people for whom no Wiki entry has yet been written. Please use care in maintaining worthwhile pages for Burlington and our other local towns. (I've been paying attention to Tewksbury, Wilmington, Billerica, Chelmsford, Woburn and Reading, among others.) Snezzy (talk) 16:56, 8 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Joe Morandi, Appeared as "The Trim" in HGTV Reality Show Home Wreckers. I'm a bit confused. I didn't know there was a show on HGTV called Home Wreckers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.119.168.248 (talk) 15:21, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removed entry for Jack McCullough, because it appears to be self-promotion and the claim that he invented the high five contains no references. I did find this on the internet, which would appear to indicate either that Jack is joking or he is a crank:

"The inside story behind Jack's invention of the high five, and how the US government, the media, and corporate America have conspired to suppress the truth."
