David H. Safavian
[edit]Not sure why his article had been copied onto this one. I've removed it, since no explanation of how it applied to Bunny Greenhouse was supplied. --Habap 21:07, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
- Safavian was a federal procurement official that resigned. Thus far, I see no direct connection between the two. Certainly, both we federal procurement officials. Safavian resigned, Greenhouse got demoted. I don't know whether they have ever met, let alone anything that relates the two other than that they were forced to leave similar jobs around the same time. It would be like including a paragraph on Mars at the end of an article on Venus, because Mars is also a planet in our solar system. --Habap 17:19, 3 November 2005 (UTC)
- Darkstar contends that Safavian was Greenhouse's de facto boss. If this is the case, he needs to supply information that verifies it. --Habap 17:24, 3 November 2005 (UTC)
- There is a much larger article on David Safavian to which I have redirected the David H. Safavian stub. Right now it doesn't mention anything on Bunny Greenhouse, either. I'll be doing some research on the subject tonight after I finish my homework in the hopes of helping resolve this dispute. Jacqui ★ 22:35, 3 November 2005 (UTC)
- Okay, actually I did find something small right now, though I really am doing my homework now. (Hold me to it, guys.) This is an article reprinted from the New York Times (it's roped-off to non-subscribers at the NYT site, I think) that seems to be making the same comparison that Darkstar seemed to want to draw, though there is no mention of Safavian being Greenhouse's boss. It may come in handy later. Jacqui ★ 22:39, 3 November 2005 (UTC)

- Nice find. Note, however, that the link does not actually point to the NYT.
I am not entirely certain that the op-ed piece ever actually appeared in the Times, since it isn't on their site.A website labelled topplebush.com may not be the first place to trust for NPOV. Interesting reading, nonetheless. If it really is from the Times, I'm pretty surprised at the length and the style. Of course, that it is an op-ed piece is not quite the same as if it were a news item.... --Habap 23:24, 3 November 2005 (UTC)- A simple link on the red-font "New York Times" on that site links to the article on the NYT space, which, like I said, is roped off to non-customers. But it's there. You can see the headline, author's name and a little bit more. But yes, it's an op-ed. Still sourceable, though. Jacqui ★ 04:39, 4 November 2005 (UTC)
- Ooops! Missed that. I've done a strikethru above to remove my uncertainty. --Habap 20:03, 4 November 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'm still unsure of what Darkstar1st wants us to do with the information though. Perhaps s/he will come back...? Jacqui ★ 23:33, 4 November 2005 (UTC)

Some proposed changes: using a better link in External Links section
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Information to be added or removed: Please replace the link that is currently featured in the External Links section with this new link: https://www.whistleblowers.org/members/bunnatine-greenhouse/.
Explanation of issue: The proposed addition of a new link leads to a specific biography page from the same website that highlights Ms. Greenhouse directly. I think it would be more clear to the user if this new link I am proposing links directly to the website’s specific page on Ms. Greenhouse rather than the current link, which just links to the general website.
References supporting change: The current link in the External Links section, which is https://www.whistleblowers.org/?option=com_content&task=view&id=81&Itemid=77, links to the general website, while the proposed link that I think should be swapped out for the old one links directly to Ms. Greenhouse's bio/spotlight on this website.
I would also like to disclose that I am a paid editor— this information is included in my user page, user talk page, and in the Connected Contributor template that I used in conjunction with the Requested Edit template. Please let me know if there’s anything I need to change. Thanks!

Some proposed changes: Adding a CBS Whistleblower Television Appearance
[edit]This edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
Information to be added or removed: Please add the following text:
"In June 2019, Greenhouse was featured on an episode of CBS Whistleblower. The episode details her whistleblowing on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers."Bunny's War/Opioid Lollipops". Whistleblower. ASIN B07FLGYXDT. CBS.
Explanation of issue: The proposed addition is updated information about Ms. Greenhouse's activities in regard to her status as a whistleblower. I believe that more current information would help expand understanding of how Ms. Greenhouse is dealing with her role as a whistleblower.I've also edited the citation of the episode with guidance from another editor, so it's now using the cite episode template.
References supporting change:

I would also like to disclose that I am a paid editor— this information is included in my user page, user talk page, and in the Connected Contributor template that I used in conjunction with the Requested Edit template. Please let me know if there’s anything I need to change. Thanks! Sa 3003 (talk) 03:36, 17 January 2020 (UTC)

[edit]- As the claim involves the mentioning of an appearance on a video series,
{{cite episode}}
ought to be used for the citation's template. This citation should contain all the relevant information for the episode, along with a time index of the subject's appearance. - Please note: As standard identifiers for the Whistleblower series do not appear to be evident, the ASIN B07FLGYXDT for the show can, and should, be used within the template's COinS metadata, placed as
|asin=B07FLGYXDT
. - When ready to proceed with the requested information, kindly change the
{{request edit}}
template's answer parameter to read from|ans=yes
to|ans=no
. Thank you!

- Done, with slight rephrasing. I found a direct link to the episode on the CBS series website which is better than the Amazon Standard Identification Number (ASIN). --GRuban (talk) 18:12, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Sa 3003: I also added a photograph of the subject; if you can release a better one (per WP:DONATEIMAGE), that would be great. --GRuban (talk)
