Typical fare for AFC, lots of turd polishing but no real improvement. In general, for one, much of the prose is blatantly too close to the sources. One of our project pages says the following:
Despite the need for reliable sources, you must not plagiarize them or violate their copyrights. Rewriting source material in your own words while retaining the substance is not considered original research.
For another, I see lots of copy editing still needed and plenty of missing wikilinks. The "cleanup" of this submission appeared to consist of fiddle-fucking with the placement of periods. While I'm at it, one of the AFC reviewers praised the Alaska Current source. Alaska Current is a partisan news blog. The site seems to pass muster as a source only because there's a URL to link to. I've yet to see a discussion on the suitability of partisan news blogs in the context of how the community typically judges reliable sources. WP:RSN is as useless as tits on a boar hog, so I'm not gonna initiate that discussion. RadioKAOS / Talk to me, Billy / Transmissions 01:40, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
