Merger proposal
[edit]I propose that Buddhology be merged into Buddhist studies. I think that Buddhology is a synonym of Buddhist studies and therefore we need only one of these articles. Additionally the content of the Buddhology article appears to be an extremely poor referenced content fork of Buddhism and/or Schools of Buddhism. I We better change Buddhology into a redirect to Buddhist studies. JimRenge (talk) 18:04, 10 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support. The merged article needs a review and a thorough update. Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 13:00, 12 November 2018 (UTC)
- Support, terms are synonyms.--Farang Rak Tham (Talk) 21:04, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
- Comment: JimRenge Please read WP:MERGETEXT. The biggest thing to remember is that once you paste the content, you need to include an edit summary that explains that the content was merged from another page (to help preserve copyright attribution), and then you have to slap {{merged-from}} and {{merged-to}} templates on the talk pages of both articles.
