B4050

[edit]

The road number B4050 is suspect - local maps show B4035 which fits in with the series for other B roads in N Oxon. B4050 would suggest somewhere near Bristol, an area where the B4048 and B4051 run (as do B4052 to B4058). Checking the "Search" facility at the following web page confirms this: "Roader's Digest". Roman Villa at Broughton Castle

[edit]

It seems that Broughton Castle has an even older history, see: https://www.iflscience.com/editors-blog/ancient-roman-villa-nearly-the-size-of-buckingham-palace-discovered-on-british-farm It's probably premature to add too much about the subject now, but I hope the author(s)will keep an eye open for updates.
