Wait and see

When the Angiosperm Phylogeny Group published APG II, they recommended that Cabombaceae and Nymphaeaceae be combined into one family. This did not go over well, and they reversed themselves for APG III. The same thing might happen with the amalgamation of 7 families to form an expanded Asparagaceae. Only time will tell. I believe that if the new classification is generally accepted, a new article entitled "Brodiaeoideae" should be created for the information that is here at "Themidaceae". 128.171.106.250 (talk) 23:18, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
