[edit]List of locos moved back to separate page. Lists like this break up the textual story of the class, with the list of locos sitting better in a separate location in a similar way to that in printed volumes.Romfordian (talk) 13:28, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
Why split?
[edit]Is there any particular reason why List of British Rail Class 87 locomotives is split into a seperate article? Or could they be re-integrated? I haven't seen this split anywhere else. G-13114 (talk) 10:58, 22 February 2011 (UTC)
- It was done recently with List of British Rail Class 52 locomotives, although there is a list in the main article British Rail Class 52 too. Several steam loco classes have such split, but usually don't have a duplicate list in the primary article. Such split pages include:
- GWR 4073 Class / List of GWR 4073 Class locomotives
- GWR 4900 Class / List of GWR 4900 Class locomotives
- LSWR N15 class / List of King Arthur class locomotives
- SR Lord Nelson class / List of Lord Nelson class locomotives
- SR Merchant Navy class / List of SR Merchant Navy class locomotives
- LNER Gresley Classes A1 and A3 / List of LNER Class A1/A3 locomotives

- OK so the split is made - now do we remove the table? Railwayfan2005 (talk) 16:26, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- Done. Suggestions for improving the replacement table welcome, or you could just merge back List of British Rail Class 87 locomotives.Railwayfan2005 (talk) 12:03, 5 June 2021 (UTC)
