Height

[edit]

Ok page on Brightons i360 created, I will add more late, please feel free to expand this article.

Is this 183 metres or 175 metres? This says its 175 and the article says 183 so does it need correcting? - Erebus555 16:06, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This says its 139 metres. Now it's getting confusing. - Erebus555 16:42, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This says it's 183 and is the official site, it is also the height claimed on the :architests site there may be some confusion as the pod only goes to 150m. The other sites need to be corrected. JP 11:55, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The clain that the tower will be as high as the pier was long is incorrect [:http://www.westpier.co.uk/chronology.htm see here] so have amended JP 15:14, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Brighton Eye

[edit]

"As the name "i360" is now commonly known in the IT-World, "the Brighton Eye" is now the preferred name for the structure." - what exactly is the name "commonly known" for? I can only find an unofficial Mac turntable using the name. And who is the new name preferred by - is it an official rebranding, or is this just among "the IT-World"? --McGeddon (talk) 09:42, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cyberbot II has detected links on I360 which have been added to the blacklist, either globally or locally. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed or are highly inappropriate for Wikipedia. The addition will be logged at one of these locations: local or global If you believe the specific link should be exempt from the blacklist, you may request that it is white-listed. Alternatively, you may request that the link is removed from or altered on the blacklist locally or globally. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. Please do not remove the tag until the issue is resolved. You may set the invisible parameter to "true" whilst requests to white-list are being processed. Should you require any help with this process, please ask at the help desk.

Ongoing financial difficulties

[edit]

I've edited out some of the unsubstantiated promotional claims and added a section about the revoked world record claim. In addition, I've tagged the finance section as requiring update, given the fact that the company has failed to service its debt to BHCC for the past year and has recently had to restructure the loan. The whole section will probably require a complete rewrite at some point, depending on how it fares over the next quarter. ~dom Kaos~ (talk) 13:29, 12 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
