Aim of NOM

[edit]

This article makes it look like NOM was founded to be specifically against homosexual marriage, when in fact they are against all modifications of marriage laws, including polygamy, animal marriage, self marriage, man/boy marriage and other changes to marriage as we know it in modern times. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.181.48.8 (talk) 07:07, 12 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

NOM disagrees with you regarding the reason of their founding. "Founded in 2007 in response to the growing need for an organized opposition to same-sex marriage in state legislatures," --104.34.186.37 (talk) 15:55, 30 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Reference #1, to Brown's Twitter feed,is currently listed as a dead link. It is, in fact, alive, so the dead link tag should be removed. --104.34.186.37 (talk) 15:57, 30 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
