[edit]Anyone up for trying to reference this:
His lack of a back-to-the-basket game and his tendency to shy away from the physical play has earned some criticism from fans and coaches alike. During the off-season, Cook decided to bulk up and work on his back-to-the-basket game, post moves, and rebounding. His work ethic paid off as this season, he has seen increased playing time and productivity.
These are pretty soft facts and should be verified with a reference to keep in this encyclopedia. (Terryn3 23:12, 22 March 2006 (UTC))
- I believe it's the general feel I get from having read a number of articles about him in LA Times, but I wouldn't be able to provide a reference now (LA Times articles are removed from their web site after a week). howcheng {chat} 17:02, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
Shouldnt there be something about his poor reputation as kind of a soft big man? The guys a good shooter but the consensus seems to be that big men that shoot but do nothing else aren't very valuable—Preceding unsigned comment added by 141.154.56.152 (talk) 21:49, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
- Sure, find a reference and put we can put it in. howcheng {chat} 02:35, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
Can anybody find a more current picture of Brian Cook, preferably with the Magic? --Reezy (talk) 03:45, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

– Run of the mill NBA player. Per pageviews, does not appear to be the primary topic for this name. Natg 19 (talk) 03:02, 1 May 2022 (UTC)

- Support per nomination and Ortizesp. There are nine men listed upon the Brian Cook (disambiguation) page, with no indication that the retired basketball player left such an indelible imprint upon sport history that his renown dwarfs the combined notability of the remaining eight men. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 03:36, 1 May 2022 (UTC)

- Support per nom. Based on pageviews, even if you JUST focus on people with the exact spelling of "Brian Cook", there's not really much of a primary topic for the name "Brian Cook" itself — and there's even LESS of a primary topic when you account for all the identically-pronounced "Brian Cooke"s, "Bryan Cook"s, and "Bryan Cooke"s. The safest bet is absolutely to have the disambiguation page at the basename. Paintspot Infez (talk) 21:59, 1 May 2022 (UTC)
- Weak support per Paintspot Infez, the baseball player has 37,962 views but the musician has 21,492, the football administrator has 13,950 and Brian W. Cook has 2,161. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:11, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
- Support. No clear primary topic. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:59, 5 May 2022 (UTC)
