This is not much of an article

I created this on the fly because it was astonishing to me that a seemingly rather "powerful" person is essentially nonexistent on WP. (More powerful, one could say, than Trump pre-presidency). I tried to Wikilink his name last year, which lasted about 30 mins as a redlink before reversion to plain text. It is not logical that the Bechtel articles on WP would lack this generation of the family. He is apparently cut from the same cloth as the other family members who have led the company; hence my efforts to get something started. I have it preserved in my sandbox, so if it needs to be killed as an article that is fine w/ me. I just thought I would put it out there in case anyone on the planet wondered about this Wikighost and searched for the name in the next few hours.--Quisqualis (talk) 04:07, 10 March 2017 (UTC)

Hello. Let me first disclose that I am an employee of Bechtel and have been tasked with representing the company on Wikipedia. Similarly to how I have worked on Bechtel, I will propose edits to this article on the Talk page. I will not be editing the article. That said, I have a few updates to offer that I think will be helpful in giving a more accurate description of Brendan Bechtel. @Quisqualis: Since you created this article, you might be interested in reviewing this request.

Since this article is short, I have included my suggestions in the collapse box below, with the edited material in green text, followed by a collapse box with proper markup.

In the first collapse box, you will see I:

• Updated with Mr. Bechtel's status as chairman and CEO
• Clarified that Mr. Bechtel became CEO in 2016; chairman and CEO in 2017
• Simplified one sentence to say Mr. Bechtel is the 5th generation of the Bechtel family "to lead the company"
• Clarified that Mr. Bechtel's Master's degree is in "construction engineering and construction management"

Also, you will notice that my proposed edits deletes Mr. Bechtel's birthday. I kindly ask Wikipedia editors to remove this information from the article, as this is private information Mr. Bechtel does not want widely available. Note that Mr. Bechtel has not shared this information in any publicly available source.

He is the great-great grandson of the founder of Bechtel, Warren A. Bechtel. and is the 5th generation of the Bechtel family to lead the company. Hello, CM at Bechtel. As you requested, I have removed his exact date of birth but left his year of birth, per WP:DOB. I do not have time at the moment to review the rest of the proposed changes, but I will do so later.
