Is it well written?
[edit]- Cyrus' quote relating to "Wake Up America" doesn't need square brackets around the ellipses "...and your generation but your kids and their kids [...] Every....".
- Done.
- There are other examples of this in other sections
- Done.
- Still one more to fix in the 'Background' section, but I will fix it as it is minor Adabow (talk) 01:41, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
- Maybe rename 'Music structure and composition' section to 'Musical structure and composition'?
- Done.
- You should mention lyrics in the section title too, or move the details about songs' lyrics to another section.
- Composition includes lyrics. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 18:24, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- Ben Ratliff's comments in the 'Critical reception' section contain dashes. You must use either spaced en dashes or non-spaced em dashes; at the moment they are spaced em dashes
- The ones used right now are fine, I think. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 23:06, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
- They are em dashes (—), instead you should type in &ndash followed by a ; (this won't fail the GA but for FA you will need to do this)
- The 'wasn't' in the 'Critical reception' section needs expanding. Any other contractions outside of quotations should also be expanded
- I can't find it. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 23:06, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
- I expanded it Adabow (talk) 01:41, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
- The different track listings are broken up using level three headers (=== title ==), but this causing a bit of overcrowding in the ToC. Maybe break them up with simple bold headers (; title)?
- I don't it looks too overcrowded, in fact I think it's better since there is a direct way to see each track listing. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 23:07, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
[edit]- Several of the early references are simply bare URLs; these need formatting. Genres that are mentioned in the infobox do not need refs if they are referenced later on.
- Sorry, these were additions by IPs. Reverted. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 18:17, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- In the 'Development' section, citation 6 is the only reference used for the description of "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"; it doesn't need three appearances, just place it at the end of the paragraph
- Done.
- Same thing applies with "Wake Up America".
- Done.
- Both the 'Track listings' and 'Personnel' contain no references; some sort of source needs to be cited
- I don't think it needs a source. At least not the track listings as per many FAs and GAs like Control (Janet Jackson album) and Thriller (album). The personnel already has a source. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 23:23, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
- Citation 97 is dead, see this tool
- Fixed.
Is it broad in its coverage?
[edit]Yes, pass
Is it neutral?
[edit]Both positive and negative comments are balanced and taken within context, pass
Is it stable?
[edit]Pass
Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
[edit]- Cover art has proper copyright tag and appropriate non-free rationale
- The images of performances are captioned, but how do you know which songs are being sung in the images, as these details are not mentioned on the file pages?
- Some are and some are not but I know because I own the DVD and have gone to the concert. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 18:21, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- Maybe you could cite the DVD on the file pages. Don't worry too much, as this won't make it fail the GA review, but it may be helpful to others in the future? Adabow (talk) 12:01, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
- That would be nice. I'll probably just put the songs later, once I have time. -- ipodnano05 * leave@message 23:27, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
