I found it pretty shocking that there was no page for the Bragg plane yet, other than a redirect. It may seem to be a small subsection of crystal structures but it's actually a more profound concept than that and is widespread in crystallography. The mathematical description I've given here may seem a bit verbose but i'd ask anyone interested to add a more intuitive description to the opening paragraph and leave the description given later in the article rather than deleting it outright.
