Pictures
[edit]If possible, please could someone source an artists impression from the Bradwell B or CGN website about the project. I have no clue how to do this. Example image:

Their is also an image that can be used in the construction or timeline section as it shows on the bottom of page 10 what is expected to occur and when. Link to the file:

It is also located on page 5 of this link:

Requested move 21 October 2020
[edit]There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Berkeley Nuclear Power Station which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. Rosbif73 (talk) 15:23, 21 October 2020 (UTC)
Proposed changes
[edit]Part of an edit requested by an editor with a conflict of interest has been implemented. |
- Information to be added or removed: Under 'Funding section', remove 'As of 21 July 2020, the consortium is looking towards the government for financial backing with the Regulated Asset Base model, which the consortium will discuss at the appropriate time.' and replace with 'A financial model for funding the construction of Bradwell B is yet to be agreed. CGN and EDF state that they will discuss this with the UK government at the appropriate time.'
- Explanation of issue: The reference cites links to the project's website, which does not refer to the Regulated Asset Base and instead states that a financing model has not been agreed.
- References supporting change: https://bradwellb.co.uk/faqs/ (Cost > How much would electricity from Bradwell B cost, and who would pay for it?)
- Information to be added or removed: Amend infopane and introduction section to reference EDF Energy's involvement.
- Explanation of issue: Whilst CGN is the majority stakeholder, EDF Energy hold a one third share in the project. As per the entry for Sizewell C nuclear power station, reference should be made to both partners.
- References supporting change: https://bradwellb.co.uk/about-the-project/ (About the partners section)
- Information to be added or removed: In 'History' section, add additional text to end of third paragraph. ‘In November 2020, it was announced that the HPR1000 reactor design had successfully passed all the steps of the compliance analysis against the European Utility Requirements Document.’
- Explanation of issue: Relevant additional information on reactor technology.
- References supporting change: http://www.europeanutilityrequirements.org/News.aspx (First article on the page at time of submission, because it is a ‘roll down’ news item we are unable to provide direct link); and https://www.world-nuclear-news.org/Articles/CGNs-Hualong-One-design-certified-for-European-use

- DoneAdded the partner in the Infobox and the requested information under History. We cannot include the funding blurb, as your provided sources are primary, and not independent. Ferkijel (talk) 22:09, 30 March 2021 (UTC)
