Events section

I have deleted the Events section of the article not because it didn't belong but because it was so poor and needs re-writing properly. It was just a random collection of events, none of them seemed special of stand out per se. For a start there was nothing about anything prior to 1991, 11 years after it had opened. Only notable events should be listed. First concert, biggest selling concert, first sports event, major sports events, debut concert for a major band etc. Hope that makes sense! New name of the arena is now live.

How about some consistency in article names instead. Most UK arena articles use the common / non-sponsored name of the arena, where such a name exists. Therefore it would be better to move this page to NEC Arena, as that is what it is still commonly known as. --Jameboy (talk) 02:41, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
