Cadbury
[edit]Is Bournville chocolate really manufactured in France to be sold in the UK??? I doubt it somehow. Any source on this? --Ukdan999 01:38, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
- I've heard this as "one of those odd things" but not from an official source. A look at this page on the Cadbury UK site lists all the products made at the Bournville factory and Bournville chocolate is conspicuous by its absence which could be considered a source. The French Cadbury site is here but my French isn't that good. I could always pop in and ask... Peteashton 20:58, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- Cadbury Schweppes lists the offending bar as being "manufactured in France" albeit with no direct source. Peteashton 21:06, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- It suddenly struck me while buying some milk that the best way to solve this would be to look on a bar of Bournville chocolate. It says it's made by "CadburyFrance". This was a bar in the newsagents in Bournville itself. I'm guessing that counts as a source? Peteashton 23:13, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
Bournville Junior School
[edit]I looked on the bit about education, because i'm trying to find out about the junior school's carillon for my homework. Could the junior school be included, and could'nt someone please post a link to the website? 82.46.177.213 14:34, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
Alcohol
[edit]The article should mention that Bournville is an alcohol-free zone. At least that's what the Tesco article claims. 188.223.5.83 (talk) 18:50, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- Bournville is not 'alcohol free', it just has no public houses within its bounds and that is mentioned in the article already "It is also noteworthy that, because George Cadbury was a temperance Quaker, no public houses have ever been built in Bournville although, since the late 1940s, there has been a licensed members' bar at Rowheath Pavilion.". 21st CENTURY GREENSTUFF 21:27, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
Cadbury Trebor Basset
[edit]It's no longer Cadbury Trebor Basset, I believe it is owned by Kraft which in turn is part of Mondelez Internationale. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.76.229.100 (talk) 10:14, 26 February 2013 (UTC)
