This article is less than a week old, and still developing rapidly. It does cite several sources, which is great, but the sources only describe the qualities of individual feed ingredients. There are no sources, as far as I can see, that establish the notability of botanical additives as a class of food additives, nor verify the (albeit not particularly controversial) general information about the five types of additives described here or about botanical additives generally. I hesitate to add a maintenance tag asking for reference improvement on a start-class article that already cites more than a dozen sources, but some more general sourcing is needed. See WP:SYNTH.
