Bosniaks Catholics in Hungary
[edit]Bosniaks Catholics in Hungary are voiceless and without interest from within Bosnia and/or Bosniaks expressed with same intensity and same motivation as interest expressed by certain Croatian media, individuals or organizations, and as far as they are both concerned that's a good thing. Meanwhile, these outlets and individuals, although somewhat marginal are busy creating picture about this small community according to traditional as well as current Croatian national policies (in Croatia, Bosnia and abroad concerning diaspora) and rather vulgar political everyday usage.
But regardless how many are those with one point of view, which tries to identify members of this community as Croats, or identifying themselves as Bosniak-Croats for that matter (whatever this name means), there are as many of those who are expressing completely opposite feelings and point of view, since they identifying themselves as Bosnaiks, although Catholic Bosniaks, but Bosniaks nonetheless - not Croats of any sort or in any combination.
I am afraid that content of this article could be or is influenced by views and feelings slanting the article towards certain ethnic point of view, so maybe some aspect of genesis omitted unwittingly or intentionally should find its place in explaining existence of this duality in ethnic identity feelings among members of community after all. --Santasa99 (talk) 21:53, 2 May 2013 (UTC)
- [1] In Pecs has seven villages where they say to themselves that they were Bosniaks. Say they have Catholics from Bosnia, Croats (U Pečuhu ima sedam naselja gdje kažu za sebe da su Bošnjaci. Kažu da su katolici, iz Bosne, Hrvati). They are one of a group of Croatians in Hungary. remained: Burgenland Croats, Croats (Pomurje), Podravina Croats, Šokci, Bunjevci. In Croatia, there are village Bošnjaci (Bosniaks) which has nothing to do with the people Bosniaks as well as this group of Croats.--Sokac121 (talk) 13:15, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
