The Packers?
[edit]There is someone on YouTube [1] claiming that Booker T. and some other associated musicians were The Packers of "Hole in the Wall" fame, in 1965. Anyone care to comment? It's a great record and he should get credit if this is so.Daniel Sparkman (talk) 17:14, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
- The YouTube source is unreliable, a reliable source is needed before this can be added to the article. (I'm not imply that it is true) - kollision (talk) 08:45, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
Booker T's whereabouts
[edit]I can post the link to where Booker T Jones currently resides.... (KNBR-San Francisco website/Gary Radnich). He's been a resident of Tiburon, CA the past dozen years. Includes himself as a San Francisco Giants fan and was actually calling in as a sports fan.

Albums
[edit]The "Green Onions" album page that is linked under the "Albums" heading sends you to a page about the song "Green Onions" rather than to the album of the same name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.128.136.37 (talk) 03:00, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
In Performance at the White House: Women of Soul
[edit]He put on a great show, including a duet, a solo, and leading the band on the Hammond B-3! 172.56.26.57 (talk) 02:29, 24 May 2014 (UTC)
That hat
[edit]How about a word of appreciation for that hat? It's a bowler, isn't it, and it looks damn classy, if you ask me. I bet it came from a world-famous hatter, probably in London, England. 172.56.26.238 (talk) 02:40, 24 May 2014 (UTC)
- This is missing information about his marriage to Pricilla Coolidge. They also have a daughter. Lots of missing information here. If you go to Pricilla June Coolidge on Facebook, you can see actual photos of Booker T, Pricilla and their daughter....and grandchildren. That's how I know it's a fact. 74.222.243.16 (talk) 17:08, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
- I'm adding info on Priscilla now & also adding a page for Priscilla that currently doesn't exist, which is overdue as she was definitely a notable person.PhilOSophocle (talk) 20:29, 9 June 2015 (UTC)
External links
[edit]- There are nine entries in the "External links". Three seems to be an acceptable number and of course, everyone has their favorite to add for four. The problem is that none is needed for article promotion.
- ELpoints #3) states:
Links in the "External links" section should be kept to a minimum. A lack of external links or a small number of external links is not a reason to add external links.
- LINKFARM states:
There is nothing wrong with adding one or more useful content-relevant links to the external links section of an article; however, excessive lists can dwarf articles and detract from the purpose of Wikipedia. On articles about topics with many fansites, for example, including a link to one major fansite may be appropriate.
- WP:ELMIN:
Minimize the number of links
. - WP:ELCITE:
access dates are not appropriate in the external links section. Do not use {{cite web}} or other citation templates in the External links section. Citation templates are permitted in the Further reading section.
