Age question

[edit]

Is she really born in 1959? According to other sources it's 1979? 20 years is a pretty big age gap. Snio (talk) 07:29, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

For some reason people keep alternating here between 1959 and 1979. I find no reliable sources to support either claim. The 1979 claim isn't even credible: She was obviously well over 14/15 when she played The Prostitute in Exit to Eden in 1994 and the prophet in the Counting Crows "Round Here" video[1] the same year. I just removed the latest 1979 claim. No birth date/year should be added without a reliable source. Largoplazo (talk) 13:43, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Someone just restored the 1979 birth year, citing a website called Dreshare that claims to do research, but it's nonsense. I just pulled up this article at The Hollywood Reporter in which she discusses how she met Garry Marshall before she was chosen to play The Prostitute in Exit to Eden, which was filmed in 1993. As she recounts, "There’s this bar called Residuals Tavern in the Valley, and I was told to go there because a lot of bigwigs hung out there,” Aarons says. “So, I went and I’m sitting at the bar and there’s a lot of bigwigs there. ... I’m walking back to my car in the parking lot when all of a sudden it’s Garry Marshall." If someone is sending her to a bar to make a movie connection, and, afterwards, she's walking back to her car, and Garry Marshall approaches her in an encounter that leads to her playing a prostitute, then she was not a 13- or 14-year old girl, as she would have been if she was born in 1979. Dreshare is not a reliable source, and I'm again removing the false information sourced to it. Largoplazo (talk) 10:42, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
