Morgan695 I think we need a source for the assertion that 'bodega cats have long been considered a part of the culture of NYC', as the linked article (where I went hoping to find a source for that) mentions neither bodegas nor cats. --valereee (talk) 16:00, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Resolved the issue. It was a vague and overly broad statement, so I just removed it. Morgan695 (talk) 17:46, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Morgan695, I found a statement about beloved in one of the sources, put that in. :) Very fun article, wish I'd seen it when it landed at DYK, but Epicgenius scooped it up too quick. --valereee (talk) 21:06, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Valereee, sorry about that. It caught my attention really quickly as these are quite prevalent in NYC (and before anyone asks, it's specifically the area around my college) epicgenius (talk) 21:13, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, @Madpie22, let's discuss. You've added a lot of trivia, changed sections heads to be incorrectly formatted, and provided sources in a form that can't be accessed. Valereee (talk) 17:42, 3 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, how can i fix the problems i made?? Should i put everything back in my sandbox for now ?? Madpie22 (talk) 17:59, 3 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Well, first thing is to figure out how to create a citation from a URL. Are you using Visual Editor, or are you editing in source? Valereee (talk) 18:06, 3 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
visual editor Madpie22 (talk) 18:10, 3 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
also my sources are from my colleges online database so the links are the permalinks from there Madpie22 (talk) 18:11, 3 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, so you should be able to just copy the URL and paste it into VisEd's citation tool, which is above the edit box (looks like quotation marks). Maybe go through the sources one by one and see if you can replace those sources with ones that show up inline like this:[1] and generates a clickable link in the references section like this:
