Hang 'em high

[edit]

I've moved this comment from the article to here: (John User:Jwy talk) 21:48, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You didn't mention anything about Hang 'Em High where he played one of the guys who hanged Jed Cooper (played by Clint Eastwood) but was sorry later, turned himself in and died in prison. Steele was an actor with a great career who ought to mentioned correctly, I shook his hand in the Disney Hotel one evening I couldn't believe it. You also didn't mention that in 1939 he started in Of Mice and Men.

Steele's character in Hang 'Em High did not go to prison, much less die there. He was pardoned at Eastwood's character's insistence, as a condition of Eastwood continuing to work as a U.S. Marshal. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.127.102.141 (talkcontribs) and Jonyungk (talkcontribs) from the article page.

Wrong Picture

[edit]

The image of Steele in the article is not of Steele. There is not even a slight resemblance.96.235.138.157 (talk) 01:34, 19 July 2023 (UTC)Hans Wurst[reply]

Name differences...

[edit]

Here his birth named is Robert Adrian Bradbury but on Bob Steele filmography he is called Robert North Bradbury Jr! Could someone reconcile this - or maybe there were THREE brothers? Cheers! Shir-El too 18:33, 17 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
