Incumbent or not?
[edit]I don't know when he assumes office (probably very soon), but right now he's called a rep-elect in the text but an incumbent in the infobox. Can we make it consistent please? Moncrief (talk) 19:32, 12 December 2007 (UTC)
Vandalism?
[edit]The second entry under External Links, labelled "Bob Latta for U.S. Congress campaign site," some kid (or Democrat activist, wutever) has set to go to a porn site. I'd fix it if I knew the correct site. There may well be other cases on this page. Randall 75.199.46.110 (talk) 22:59, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
OK, there were 10 edits made during a 20-minute span on Sept. 30 by user 64.18.nn.nn (he apparently hung up and dialed back in 5 times, to change his URL) -- a profound anti-Semite, judging from his opinion that calling the congressman Jewish should do as much damage to his reputation as would sneaking in words like 'boobs' and redirecting to porn sites.
There were also 5 attempts to revert by registered users, but our anti-Semitic activist confused things so that the reversion was imperfect. It shook out that 3 things remained to be undone: the change of his religion from Roman Catholic to Jewish, the insertion of a "cultural" [?] reference to a "Family Guy" episode, and the change of his campaign site from http://www.lattaforcongress.com to http://thehun.com.
So now I believe I have fixed all these. Randall 75.199.46.110 (talk) 03:33, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
Net Neutrality
[edit]I think it should be added that he is the sponsor of the bill to force the FCC to kill Net Neutrality. I do not trust myself to be unbiased in writing that, as I can't think of any legitimate, compelling reason for him to have taken that stance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.15.139.100 (talk) 18:41, 1 July 2014 (UTC)
