  • I haven't been doing a lot of GA related work on television episodes/series for a couple of months, but let's see if we can get through some of your GoT nominations since you've been waiting for a crazy length of time now. Review forthcoming in the next couple of days. Miyagawa (talk) 01:46, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, let's finally get on with that review:

  • Lead: You might want to check to see if the characters have individual articles too. For example, Bran Stark. Link where appropriate on the first mention.

  • ""Blood of My Blood" was positively received by critics who praised the return of several notable characters, including Benjen Stark, Walder Frey and Edmure Tully, Samwell's return to Horn Hill, and Arya's decision to return to being a Stark rather than a disciple of the Many-Faced God." I'd break that into two sentences with a full stop at Tully, and then start the following sentence something along the lines of "Further praise was given to other plot points, such as Samwell's..."

  • There's nothing in the lead to summarise the Production section.

  • Production: "as well as the subsequent episode "The Broken Man". The title of the episode is a reference" - You'll need to change the second sentence where it says "The title of the episode" to something like "The title of the episode, "Blood of My Blood", is a reference" just to make certain to a reader that you're not referring to "The Broken Man".

  • Unlike the characters where they often share the same surnames, since the production staff don't, you can just refer to them by their surname rather than using the full name.

  • Better off simply removing "A notable example of a returning actor was" - that sentence will work just as well without it entirely.

  • "expressing the desire" - just to keep in the same tense throughout the sentence, best to change to "where he expressed his desire"

  • Watch for the multiple links in the article body to the same locations - particularly in the casting section where you've already linked to the actor's article in the plot section.

  • While you can probably get across the requirement for the fair use image in the infobox because of the Benjen/Coldhands connection, but I can't see the need for the fair use image of the Mad King. You don't need the image to understand the description from the article, which is the whole point of the fair use need.

  • Ratings: This is a good place to work in the channels it was broadcast on.

  • Critical reception: I'd break the paragraph in two, at the point where the Vox review begins.

  • References: You need to go through the cites and ensure that the magazines/newspapers are in italics.
    1. 18: The source is displaying as the author
  • Also check for links to those magazines/newspapers at the first appearance
    1. 26: Missing the source.
@Miyagawa: All done, and also thanks for reviewing the episodes. - AffeL (talk) 19:43, 30 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@AffeL: Just a couple more - italics for the sources in references 4, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 19, 20, 21, 25, 27, 32, 34; also 18 needs a source. Miyagawa (talk) 00:24, 31 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Miyagawa: Done, but reference 18 has a source already. - AffeL (talk) 15:16, 31 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@AffeL: Great, I've added what I meant for #18 (publisher, not source - it was me being unclear). Happy to promote as I believe it now meets all the GA requirements. Miyagawa (talk) 15:44, 31 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
