removing the stub
[edit]I had kept the stub there because I wasn't finished with this article yet. The page still needs the notable players section complete (such as team captains and not to be forgotten). Also it still needs the season by season stats, which I was about to do until a conflict about merging the teams came up. when all is said and done, I will add the season by season stats. I will wait because if it is decided to split the teams up again, then all that work of making a table will be for naught. Masterhatch 05:53, 14 September 2005 (UTC)
- I think the article is big enough that it would not be considered a stub — it is quite detailed. I would wager that the next time that the stubsensor is run, someone will come in to remove the tag. I do agree that it should be expanded to have those sections. But, if you really want to put the stub tag back in, go ahead. -- JamesTeterenko 14:23, 14 September 2005 (UTC)
i think there should be some reference to the rocky movie- Blazers is prominately displayed udring the ice rink scene
Fair use rationale for Image:Blazers.gif
[edit]Image:Blazers.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 14:26, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

* Did the Miami Screaming Eagles intend to use Dinner Key? * The Miami Arena didn't open until 1988, sixteen years after the WHA began!

Name
[edit]People need to be able to seach for the article, since Blazers/Cowboys is a completely made up title, we needed to put in WHA so it would show up in peoples searches. This is what is meant by clarifying, they can't read the first sentence if they don't find the article. -Djsasso (talk) 12:26, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
- "Blazers/Cowboys" is probably one of the least likely search terms Wikipedia will ever encounter. Anyone searching for this article will be doing so via a search for Miami Screaming Eagles, Philadelphia Blazers or Vancouver Blazers, all of which redirect here. Resolute 14:23, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
- Searching for the 3 of them would you get you here with or without WHA in the title.. RandySavageFTW (talk) 17:17, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
