Number of versions

[edit]

Corrected the number of versions. Two is just plain wrong. Alpha, Beta, Unlimited is the absolute minimum that must be mentioned in the article.

Concerning the numbers printed, the source I included is a bit wonky, considering that it is from blogspot. On the other hand it is much more informed than the "source", that was considered reliable, but only mentioned two versions. OdinFK (talk) 11:31, 23 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You aren't wrong, but it's very, very weird that Gizmodo, A.V. Club, IGN, and Polygon all seemingly don't mention the Unlimited release. I tried searching for it in those articles and found nothing. But the CBR and the Dexerto articles do mention it. This is somewhat ironic since there is no strong consensus for their reliability. At any rate, blogspot is really not a great source. In fact, I'm probably going to remove it and just use CBR and Dexerto.
That said, there is this article from Fox News that mentions some stuff. I never thought I'd really have to use Fox News, but here we are. For note, the removal is due to the fact the cited claim of Unlimited prints cannot be verified with any certain consistency, since there are multiple different claims of prints. I'll try to find something that gives a more solid number.
That said, if Polygon and the A.V. Club are correct about the number of prints, then, according to the Generation Decks book, there should be around 18,000 printed for Unlimited. But I really have no idea if 22,800 is a correct number of prints at all. Maxx-♥ talk and coffee ☕ 21:01, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If there are contradictory claims in RS, we can just report them with attribution. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:27, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
We could. I tried to find good sources that mentioned Unlimited prints. Unfortunately, there aren't many. Maxx-♥ talk and coffee ☕ 13:26, 20 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
