Talk:Bionic Commando
Main character
[edit]Why does it say that the main character may be named Super Joe...and then a little way down say she has to RESCUE Super Joe??? -Batabii71.87.113.191 14:21, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
- This is because the main character of the original PC game was Super Joe. In the NES game, which works as a sequel to the original game, the main character has to rescue Super Joe. Thief12 (talk) 01:50, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
- The original game was an arcade game, not a PC game. Also, the character was officially unnamed, the name "Super Joe" only appeared on sales flyers for the arcade game and may not have been his actual name; he is unnamed in the game itself. -- Atamachat 23:46, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
Parentheses
[edit]Why are there two opening parentheses in the first sentence and only one closing one? --Daveswagon 18:31, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
Covers
[edit]Should there be a comparison of covers in this article? Or is it just nothing noteworthy? Example (Kotaku): Bionicsecret.jpg - ChJees, Sweden —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.227.219.252 (talk) 02:12, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Main Character's Name
[edit]Where does the name Rad Spencer come from? It's just Ladd in the NES game. --Bakuryuu (talk) 07:52, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
- In the Bionic Commando page, the name of the character is Nathan "Rad" Spencer. Thief12 (talk) 12:31, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
Separate articles for different games
[edit]Why does the article address both the arcade version and the NES version when both were very different games? Although it is mentioned, wouldn't each game warrant its own article? Even the Game Boy version was crammed in the article. Thief12 (talk) 00:31, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
Ok, since this article deals with three separate and different games (the original arcade game, the NES game, and the GameBoy game), I think this article should be a disambiguation page with links to separate articles for each one, and possibly links to the sequels for PS3 and others. I think that a page for the series might be in order, considering it's so popular and with a deep story. Thief12 (talk) 14:50, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, as you can all see, I went on and separated the article. I also segregated the comments that were on this discussion page to their respective talk pages of each game. Thief12 (talk) 12:30, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
C64
[edit]This is for C64 too, right? Medico80 (talk) 20:16, 19 April 2009 (UTC)
Cahnge this article
[edit]Can we actually cahnge this article from a disabunguation page to an actual page telling about the series? --Victory93 (talk) 04:27, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
