The term "Bin bug" was only used in some England newspapers for a very short period it seems. A Wiki devoted to "bin bug" leaves the wrong impression about RFID tags used in waste bins worldwide. It is sad that a Google on "RFID waste bins" brings one very quickly to Wiki's Bin Bug. I am a designer and producer of RFID tags for waste bins and feel there is a lot more that can be said on this subject (without it being advertising). However, I am not an experienced Wiki author and cannot do the subject justice in the proper format. But I am more than willing to help expand the subject of RFID tags for waste bins. An article titled Bin Bug will forever be a problem because of the obsolescence of the name. I decided to rather create a new article "RFID for Waste Bins" which will then refer to the Bin Bug article as being a very narrow, and old, English experience. Had I continued building onto this article, it might have served to revive the slang use. GDpost (talk
