The lead section of the article is well done and meets each of the points listed. The content in the article is well done and concise and remains well focused on the topic, it does seem to underrepresent Asian countries since they are not included in the articles' sections. The article does a great job of remaining neutral. The citations are well done and use the best possible sources they can, after clicking several of the links, they do work. Organization and writing-wise the article is clear and concise. The images are well done and provide adequate information and are properly sourced while also being visually appealing. There are unfortunately no comments on the talk page of the article. The article is C-rated by both the WikiProject Civil Engineering and Wikiproject Cycling Groups. Unfortunately, there is no discussion on the article under the talk page. The article's overall status is a C-rating and it is strong by having a clear and concise description of the subject at hand but it can be improved chiefly by expanding into how Asian countries approach bike lanes. Why does reference to US Bike Lane Laws only refer to Caltrans?

Why very few references to other European Countries?

In the intro section, it refers to the UK's bike laws for 2 sentences and does not mention the nation in the Europe section at all. Additionally, in that section, only Belgium, France, and the Netherlands are mentioned despite Europe being an extremely diverse region in both nations and laws regarding bike lanes and biking in general. Out of scope material

The lead clearly defines the topic of this article to be limited to “bikeways separated from other traffic only by painted markings”. Yet much of the material, including photos as well as text, is about cycle tracks. That material needs to move to “cycle track”. —В²C 21:07, 7 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I would support some kind of merge with cycle track. Both paint-only and separated/protected bike facilities are commonly called "bike lanes".
Specific paint-only information could remain at Shared lane marking.

As others have pointed out, there is overlapping and conflicting material in both entries.
