Request for help
[edit]- Quick new page on the navigation chart holder used in many WWII Raf planes. More help needed (Msrasnw (talk) 07:23, 26 July 2020 (UTC))
Merge decision
[edit]Unfortunately, in my view, this page has to be merged with the page on Arthur Bigsworth as a result of the interpretation of an AFD debate by an administrator. I am not sure of the process by which this merging will happen. If there is any advice on this process I would like to contribute and save as much of the work done as possible an is useful to keep.(Msrasnw (talk) 06:49, 3 August 2020 (UTC))
- See WP:MERGE. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 07:39, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
Bibliography
[edit]The following sources are not referenced in the main text:
- Hunt, Franklin L. "Aeronautic Instruments." JOSA 6, no. 7 (1922): 744-811.
- Kingsley, F.A. (2016) The Applications of Radar and Other Electronic Systems in the Royal Navy in World War 2, Springer, 27 Jul
- Wimperis, H. E. (1920). A primer of Air Navigation
- Instructions for the use of Bigsworth protractor parallels and chart board, Air Ministry, Royal Air Force, (1918). Imperial War Museum catalogue number LBY K. 3940. National Archives Ref: AIR 1/713/27/19/4
If they support any of it, they should be referenced appropriately, otherwise they will not be merged across. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 07:43, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
- Tried to do the redirect - which has made me unhappy (Msrasnw (talk) 10:01, 4 August 2020 (UTC))
- Done a more comprehensive merge. Some may get deleted, but at least it now has a chance to stick. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 10:40, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
