The pigs
[edit]The painted pigs where not all flying pigs. Although there are scupltures of flying pigs around the city, the pig is a symbol for when Cincinnati, in 1818, Elisha Mills opened Cincinnati's first slaughterhouse. (nice, yuck) Earning the city the nickname "Porkopolis.". Most of the pigs painted during the Big Pig Gig were not flying ones. lol. I have a picture of me by one and many others but I can't get them on my computer for reasons that are frustrating. I need a new computer. Maybe I should post this information in the Cincinnati Ohio page, if it isn't there already. - Jeeny Talk 03:17, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
