The lead section of this list defines its contents as "all academic and peer-reviewed works on the topic of code-switching". There are many thousands of academic and peer-reviewed articles on the topic of code-switching, with more being published every year, so that does not constitute discriminating criteria for inclusion. Per Wikipedia:Stand alone lists, bibliographies need clear selection criteria and a well-written lead section.
