(copied from User talk:Calliopejen1:)
Greetings Calliopejen1, thank you for looking over this submission. In response to your request for three best sources, I would pick these:
Smith, Roberta (September 25, 2019). "New York Galleries: What to See Right Now". The New York Times.
Plagens, Peter (December 20, 2014). "Puzzling Social Commentary and Silky Elegance in Bronze: Art Exhibits by Ivan Witenstein, Ken Greenleaf and Barbara Chase-Riboud". The Wall Street Journal.
Kuspit, Donald (September 1, 2017). "Larry Zox". Artforum.
Links can be resolved here and here, and the text of the last item found here, if you can't reach them in the usual manner. I'm a domain expert, and we typically evaluate the strength of a gallery by its ability to attract the attention of notable critics at significant publications over a long period of time. Each of Smith, Plagens, and Kuspit (as well as the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and Artforum) have entries at Wikipedia. So do more than half of the artists represented at the gallery. This latter point is of some importance, as a listing for the gallery would aid scholarship about them.
Thank you again, and please let me know if there's anything further I can provide for you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ImmovableObject (talk • contribs) 20:38, 17 July 2020 (UTC)
Draftify
[edit]Hello all. This article was twice declined by independent AFC reviews due to notability issues, however it was recently moved to mainspace by the author anyway. The notability issues remain, therefore does anyone mind if I move the article back to draftspace? Regards, MrsSnoozyTurtle 12:05, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
- MrsSnoozyTurtle Nope. That's irrelevant now. Please do check a page's log everyime you think of draftify any page. This article is well-sourced and has been reviewed by @Onel5969: ([1]), one of our main reviewers who is much experienced than us. It would be great if you consult them how this passes WP:GNG, and maybe join them as their student (see WP:NPPSCHOOL). Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2607:FEA8:1047:5800:B98B:7240:54D5:CC66 (talk • contribs) 18:20, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
- Hi. Sorry I haven't got back to this discussion, but it got lost in stuff. Simply because I've marked something reviewed, does not make it ineligible for draftification. As I've said numerous times over at NPP, other folks are free to unreview any article I've marked reviewed (just like they are free to mark an article I've tagged for notability as reviewed). I think this eeks over the notability bar, but if so, just barely. I would definitely not be offended if it was "unreviewed" or draftified. I thank the ip for the kind words. Hope this helps, but not sure it does. Onel5969 TT me 22:38, 9 March 2023 (UTC)
