I helped Valerie "Mousey" McNicol write the biography of Dr Chidzero. She never knew anything about computers and Dr Chidzero had recently requisitioned a machine to write his biography. I remember that he was a very ill man, cancer I think it was. He spoke with a very educated tone and distinctly european accent which indicated he was educated somewhere in Britain in an upper class university. His offices were in the old reserve bank building on the 9th floor overlooking Samora Machel Avenue and 1st Street intersection opposite the Pearl Assurance building. Valerie passed away at the Churchill Hospital, Oxford, England, in 2012. Being married to her youngest daughter I was privy to information not available publicly. One of those things was that there were two versions of Dr Chidzero's biography. The published (sanitised) one and the original script which Dr Chidzero asked Valerie to hold on to until Mugabe had passed away. This was so that his real biography could be published without being sanitised by the ZANU party. I have an idea where this original manuscript is, but I note with dismay that there is no mention of his autobiography at all on the article page. I don't know what his autobiography was named as I had fled Zimbabwe by then. The point of me writing this is that I taught Valerie how to use a computer and then how to use a word processor application. Vision2020 (talk) 19:12, 12 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
