Frozen parody

[edit]

Roxy the dog reverted my edit adding a production with which Banner was involved because the production appears not to meet notability guidelines. I linked to WP:NNC in my revert and mentioned that the info is from a reliable secondary source. Roxy points to WP:BRD in their next revert. I say cite something in policy that says it needs to meet notability to be mentioned in my subsequent revert. Discuss below. --DiamondRemley39 (talk) 00:38, 16 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This is the suggested content:

Banner worked as a costume designer on a parody video of Broadway musical Frozen.[1]

I suggest that the information should be included, but I agree that it's a relatively minor note, so it's only on the verge of inclusion. However, it does give some context to the article that Banner worked previously on Broadway, although the phrasing of "a parody video" makes it a bit unclear (the "parody video" was made by the makers of the musical as a preview).
As a side note, Roxy's usage of WP:BRD is correct here and the sentence should not be in the article until the talk page reaches consensus. The WP:ONUS is on the part of the person trying to add the content to the article. Following BRD is proper etiquette that helps avoid edit wars, and while it's not policy, it probably should be.

Thank you. I disagree with BRD in this case as there was flawed reasoning behind the first revert, but we are here now, so let us have etiquette or die. XD DiamondRemley39 (talk) 01:01, 16 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The wikipedia entry on Ms Banner appears to be largely self-promotion and should be deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.14.71.244 (talk) 20:02, 19 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

178.14.71.244 (talk) - When you wrote "largely self-promotion", you seem to be implying that Ms Banner wrote most of this article herself. In scanning the History of article, I see no users who are identified outright as Ms Banner. Please point me to her user name and advise me how you know this.
