Affiliation of the Berlin Mosque Article

[edit]

Hi,

I recently made an edit to the Berlin Mosque article to change the affiliation from "Ahmadiyya" to "Islam." This change was reverted by another editor, and I would like to discuss the matter here to reach a consensus.

Here is the most important point I would like to raise for discussion:

General Practice on Wikipedia: There is no strict rule that a mosque should be listed by its specific denomination. Many mosques on Wikipedia are listed under the broader term "Islam". For example, Faisal Mosque, Great Mosque of Djenné, Masjid al-Haram. If the Berlin Mosque is required to list a specific denomination, then by that logic, the entries for these other mosques would also be considered incorrect.

I am a member of this mosque and am officially tasked with ensuring our information is accurately reflected across various platforms, including Wikipedia. I believe updating the affiliation to "Islam" aligns with Wikipedia’s standards for similar articles. I welcome any thoughts or feedback on this matter.

Looking forward to your thoughts and hoping we can reach a consensus on this.
