Fair use rationale for Image:Remix Project.jpg
[edit]Image:Remix Project.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:58, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

June 2008
[edit]I came to this page to verify something about Benzino and found pretty much zero information on the page at all. Looking at the edit summary it looks like in the month of June pretty much all the information on the page was deleted. I understand the deletion of unsourced information but surely some of the basic information that was previously on this page is relevant and worthy of inclusion? As of right now this page doesn't tell me anything more about Benzino than I would learn by listening to one of his terrible-ass songs. Betterusername (talk) 07:54, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
- I restored the content. It's not the first time that same editor has gutted an article without any regard or consideration. It's still written like a magazine article and still needs heavy editing, but that's what should have been done in the first place, instead of the whole article deleted without even an edit summary. -- Ϫ 07:13, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
- Just noticed that most of that content is also duplicated in The Source (magazine) article. -- Ϫ 07:33, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
- I edited out the eminem-biased content but it still needs references. Considering it's a well publicized feud they probably shouldn't be too hard to find. Even The Source itself can be used as a source! -- Ϫ 07:40, 20 October 2010 (UTC)
Hip Hop Weekly
[edit]The Hip Hop Weekly section reeks of bias. I am not too verbose for editing Wikipedia but it seems that this section requires some cleaning up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.2.205.241 (talk) 17:43, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
Extorted David Mays?
[edit]Its widely believed he extorted his "friend" David Mays into signing part of the Source over to him. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.239.65.141 (talk) 01:43, 6 April 2012 (UTC)
Reliable source for date of birth required
[edit]I removed the given date of birth from the article. Google says July 18, 1965, however supplies no reliable sources. imdb gives 24 October 1964 though again isn't reliable. A few places give only a year. Need to find an interview, or a "Confirmed" social media account, or whatever, before adding this to the article. Nikthestoned 09:13, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
Shot?
[edit]Benzino was supposedly shot recently... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.84.255.44 (talk) 07:02, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
repeated editing of article that does not follow guidelines since Benzino's June 22, 2019 arrest
[edit]I have repeatedly tried to clean this article up and take out the edits by contributors with some kind of axe to grind who have added incoherent claims to this article since Benzino's June 22 arrest. They're either fans of Benzino or fans of Eminem. Can't tell and don't really care. One problem is the continued reassertion of some reference to a battle between Eminem and Benzino, which certainly is worthy of being in the article, but the editor keeps putting in things that are pure opinion or speculation. Example: "Eminem also completely ruined Benzino’s career when he released ‘Nail in the Coffin’.[8][9][10]" Which I just removed, again, but fully expect to be reinserted. The references that are given have nothing to do with the claim, but it's not even an objective claim anyway so there are no references that could substantiate it. This is why I said in an earlier edit that this borders on vandalism (or else the editor is functionally illiterate and thinks that this is how Wikipedia works?).
The problem with the claims about Benzino being "Taken to jail and booked (or jailed) for (x) years" are along the same line. First, the claim is incoherent. Booking, conviction, and sentencing don't all happen on the same day. The term given was 1 year first and then changed to 3 years and is just invented each time. So, again, trolling/vandalism. The reference given, again, has nothing to do with the claim. There is no evidence in any online source that Benzino has been convicted yet for the charges for which he was arrested in June of 2019, certainly not in the reference given here.
Unfortunately, I don't know how to submit this problem to someone at Wikipedia who can adjudicate these two editing problems but I would appreciate the help of anyone who could assist here. Thanks.
Edited again on August 10 to take out same type of claims. To the anonymous person who keeps putting in a claim about Benzino being "jailed" for the incident on June 22, 2019: only in kids' games like "cops and robbers" do people get arrested and thrown in jail for their crimes. In the real world, people are 1) arrested and then 2) booked (which just means arrest is processed and 3) held in jail until they can post bail (if allowed) and then, usually months if not years later, sometime during which they will be arraigned and then 4) they must return for their trial (or plea bargain), then, if found guilty, they return for 5) sentencing and only then will they be sent to either jail or prison. I have scoured the Internet looking for any source stating that Benzino has already been arraigned, tried and sentenced and sent to jail. If you have such a source, could you please cite it before making this claim? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cygnusaurus (talk • contribs) 16:00, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
