Fair use rationale for Image:Belfast and County Down Railway crest.jpg
[edit]Image:Belfast and County Down Railway crest.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Line Diagram
[edit]BCDR I did adapt the diagram here to BS7-2 but left the open/closed red/pink balance as it was before. I am thinking of starting a discussion re the value of using the open line red to denote the line which is the subject of the article, as I think has been done in this case. Some would argue that this method enables the writer to distinguish between the track of that company or railway and that of others; personally I think it makes it hard to tell which is open and which is closed as the colours are used in a non standard way. So my answer is yes, I have but this is not a thing i started and may require discussion before toes are trodden on. Thoughts? Britmax (talk) 19:19, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

- No problem; I had just started to look at the key to the diagrams and noticed the different colours; something to work on. Gavin Lisburn (talk) 22:00, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
- How do you deal with sidings eg Neill's Hill had a right hand turnout to 'sand' sidings in the late 1800's. Can you add this in, if possoble? Gavin Lisburn (talk) 22:00, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
- Hi there, did the person who did the line map here do the one for the DCDR as well? If so, you missed out the triangle! Any possibility you could update that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.185.240.121 (talk) 12:02, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
- I have fixed the triangular junction in DCDR but am having difficulty moving the rest over to the left. Can someone assist?Gavin Lisburn (talk) 22:00, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
