Move proposal

[edit]

I propose that this article be moved to Filipino beer to correspond with the titles of other articles (such as Korean beer, German beer, etc.), which use the adjective. If no one objects I'll just go ahead and do it in a few days. --N Shar (talk · contribs) 00:51, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds logical to me. The argument for consistency with the other articles makes sense, and even without that argument, the current title Philippines beer sounds a little ungainly and ungrammatical. ~ mazca t | c 01:22, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, we're now at "Philippine beer". My dictionary says this is an equally acceptable adjective, so let's leave it. --N Shar (talk · contribs) 05:29, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Works for me. I would have thought the more common adjective was Filipino, as you said, but it's not really my area so I'll let someone who knows about the subject complain if it's worth complaining about! Cheers. ~ mazca t | c 10:24, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I already made Filipino beer as a redirect.--Lenticel (talk) 04:52, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why not Pilipino Beer instead of Filipino beer? —Preceding unsigned comment added by LouPepe (talkcontribs) 00:57, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Non San Mig beer

[edit]

Should there be a section on smaller brewers and homebrewers? What about a section on major beer bars in manila such as Hobbit House in Ermita and Beer Paradise in Makati? —Preceding unsigned comment added by LouPepe (talkcontribs) 00:59, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you have reliable sources such as journals or newspapers then you could add them as a section.--Lenticel (talk) 04:47, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
