2 trillion barrels?
[edit]I was not able to access the cited Financial Times article, because it is a restricted website, but reserves of 2 trillion barrels are not believable. Remember that "reserves" are, by definition, the amount recoverable by current technology and under current economic conditions; not to be confused with "resource" or "oil in place." - I would guess they mean technically recoverable reserves. But yes, it does sound ridiculous. My guess is its more like 30 billion recoverable with current technology and a price over $120 a barrel. Forbes had an article on the formation: [1] Jørgen88 (talk) 22:34, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
