The result of the move request was: No consensus to move, but Barnstorming (disambiguation) merged here, so there is only one dab page. No such user (talk) 11:32, 1 July 2021 (UTC)
Barnstormer → Barnstormer (disambiguation) – The primary topic is a pilot who engages in Barnstorming, so Barnstormer should redirect there. Clarityfiend (talk) 07:09, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nom. Also Barnstorming (disambiguation) should be merged into this page as it has only one relevant entry. We only need a single disambiguation page to cover barnstorm/barnstormer/barnstorming. -- Netoholic @ 10:42, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- Support - Ahunt (talk) 13:12, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- Support per nom. Also support merging disambiguation pages per Netoholic. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:05, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose. I do not think this subject meets either aspect of WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Here is the usage of Barnstorming vs. Barnstorm (sports) over the last 90 days [1], and over 2020 [2]. Barnstorming gets more, but it's certainly not enough to say
it is highly likely—much more likely than any other single topic, and more likely than all the other topics combined—to be the topic sought when a reader searches for that term.
It's not even 2:1. I also do not think it has the necessary long-term significance aspect, either. Egsan Bacon (talk) 15:20, 27 May 2021 (UTC)- One thing I would say is that, although a primarily American phenomenon, the aircraft use of the term is known all over the world due to its many appearances in popular culture, whereas I don't think the sports use is (I've never heard it in Britain, although I'm very familiar with the aircraft term). So the long-term significance criterion is easily satisfied. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:50, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose. I don't think there is a primary topic here. What the nom suggests to be the primary topic is a very antiquated term that many people would be unfamiliar with, and probably more people would be familiar with the term as used in athletics. Rreagan007 (talk) 16:49, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose. Given the pageviews of Barnstorm (sports) and others, Barnstorming is itself a dubious primary topic. 162 etc. (talk) 20:23, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
- I do support the idea of merging all the dabpages though. Barnstorm seems like a good place for it. 162 etc. (talk) 20:26, 27 May 2021 (UTC)

Barnstormer → Barnstorm – per WP:DABNAME, The simplest form of the term is preferred. 162 etc. (talk) 00:39, 9 July 2021 (UTC)

- @162 etc. and SnowFire: queried move request Anthony Appleyard (talk) 11:43, 9 July 2021 (UTC)
- Of the 14 entries on the disambiguation page, only three use "Barnstorm" as their name, and 2 are quite minor (a forgotten 70s band with 3 references & their self-titled album). Maybe if there was an equal split I could see the argument, but not when this form is comparatively rare on the disambig page. SnowFire (talk) 05:17, 9 July 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose because barnstorm is a verb. In ictu oculi (talk) 15:20, 11 July 2021 (UTC)
- Oppose. In general we don't use verbs as article titles like this. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:45, 14 July 2021 (UTC)
